Pro Kabaddi 2018: Match 5 and Match 6 – Post-Match Analysis
Two more exciting matches were offered to viewers Pro Kabaddi 2018. These were the fifth and sixth matches of season six. The first match was between Dabang Delhi and Gujrat Fortunegiants. The first match ended in a draw. The second match was between Tamil Thalaivas and Telegu Titans. The Thalaivas had to face defeat once more in the match.
The Fortunegiants were led captain Sunil Kumar. Their raiders displayed strong instinct on the offensive. Their defence was no joke either. They were able to tackle Dabang’s raiders with ease. But their inexperience took the match out of their hands. In the second half, they lost their momentum. They had to settle for a tie.
Dabang Delhi started off miserably. There was a clear lack of coordination among the teammates. This led to an all-out in the initial moments of the first half. Crucial changes at different junctures of the game helped them avoid impending doom.
The ex-Fortunegiants man, Chandran Rajnath, turned out to be Delhi’s saviour in Pro Kabaddi 2018. He scored 10 points after coming off the bench in the first half itself.
The Delhi captain should learn from this match. He needs to be calmer and stay on the court for as long as possible.
The Tamil Thalaivas had to face defeat for the second time in a row. They lost to the Telegu Titans 28-33 in another close encounter. The really lacked a good third raider to support the other two. Their defence lacked coordination. On the other hand, the Titans worked as a perfect team and every member contributed to the scoreline.
Rahul Chaudhari was in a class of his own with 9 points in the match. He was supported his trusted partner, Nilesh Salunke.
